Rumour – 2023’s Call Of Duty Will Be Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

According to a report from Insider Gaming and its own sources, 2023’s Call Of Duty title will indeed be Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, a game that by its alleged title we can likely expect will be a direct follow-up from last year’s Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Insider even goes on to name specific dates which it alleges are when the cycle of public beta weekends will begin, and its launch date.

While Insider Gaming has been right in the past, particularly when it comes to the Call Of Duty franchise, for now it would still be wise to take everything with a grain of salt, unless its coming right from Activision.

So far the most official communication we’ve gotten about this year’s upcoming Call Of Duty is Activision confirming it will indeed be its own full release, and not simply a further expansion of Modern Warfare 2.

This does at least seem to be the first indication that this coming Call Of Duty will be titled Modern Warfare 3, as previous rumours even had 2023’s Call Of Duty listed to be a new Black Ops title.

However until we hear anything more official from Activision, it can’t be said for sure what the fall will have in store for us.
