Rumor – Assassin’s Creed Series Has 3 More Games Pitched By Ubisoft Studios Including Codename Nebula

According to a report on Insider Gaming, Ubisoft is going ‘all in’ with the Assassin’s Creed franchise as the studio has three more games in the pipeline in addition to what has already been announced.

Just to refresh your memory, we know that Ubisoft is working on Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, and Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade. There’s also a separate multiplayer project, Assassin’s Creed Project Invictus, on the horizon.

However, the report claims that three more games are also in the conceptual and prototype stages, including Codename Nebula, Raid and Echoes. These will reportedly be developed by different studios and include ‘vastly different playstyles’ from their predecessors.

“They are going all in with AC and some other major franchises,” a source told the site.

Assassin’s Creed Codename Nebula has been pitched by Ubisoft Sofia, the studio behind Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation and Assassin’s Creed Rogue. This will reportedly have three different settings — India, Aztec Empire, and the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, Assassin’s Creed Project Raid is allegedly a free-to-play co-op game featuring PvE.

Meanwhile, it was also reported that Assassin’s Creed is likely to go back to its annual release schedule, starting with Assassin’s Creed Mirage in August, followed by Assassin’s Creed Nexus later in the year. Following this will be Assassin’s Creed Codename Red in 2024 and Assassin’s Creed Invictus in 2025.
