NetherRealm Studios‘ highly anticipated next entry in the Mortal Kombat series has leaked via reliable tipster billbil-kun. It’s known as Mortal Kombat 1 and is reportedly coming to PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S.
The title Mortal Kombat 1 seems to confirm that it will indeed be a reboot, which ties in with a previous teaser for the game posted overnight.
According to the leak, Mortal Kombat 1 will be released in three different versions: Standard, Premium, and Kollector’s. The latter will cost $249.99, although there aren’t any details as to what’s included. However, the Mortal Kombat 11 Kollector’s Edition featured a replica Scorpion mask among other goodies.
Mortal Kombat recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, with the original game first launching in 1992. NetherRealm rebooted the franchise back in 2011 with the self-titled Mortal Kombat, with the narrative seemingly wrapping up with Mortal Kombat 11’s time-twisting narrative.
