Mortal Kombat 12 Briefly Teased As NetherRealm Thanks Fans For 30 Years Of Support

Mortal Kombat 12 appeared to get a very brief teaser during a new video posted by NetherRealm Studios, in which the development team thanks fans for their 30-year support of the fighting game franchise.

Mortal Kombat 12 is definitely happening, as it was revealed to be in the works in a Warner Bros. shareholders report. However, NetherRealm hasn’t actually showcased the game in action yet, although the hour glass teaser in the video above is better than nothing.

Previously, Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon said that the wouldn’t reveal a new Mortal Kombat game until after the series’ 30th anniversary celebrations. He also assured fans that NetherRealm hasn’t made the last Mortal Kombat game yet.

The original Mortal Kombat was released back in 1992 in arcades and was also ported to Game Gear, Game Boy, Mega Drive, and Super Nintendo.
