Square Enix has released a new trailer for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy XVI, this time showcasing the game’s lovable pooch, Torgal, in action.
Torgal proves why he’s ‘man’s best friend’ by assisting his master, Clive, on the battlefield and can act independently or take commands during combat. He’s not only good at attacking foes, but he can also heal Clive during the heat of battle to keep his master’s health topped up.

Final Fantasy XVI is scheduled for release on PS5 on June 22, 2023. Sony and Square Enix have teamed up to release a PS5 console bundle alongside the game at launch, which features a voucher to download the game.
Back in March, Square Enix confirmed that Final Fantasy XVI will feature two performance modes on PS5, namely Graphics and Frame Rate mode to prioritise resolution and FPS, respectively.
