Star Wars Jedi: Survivor continues to sell extraordinarily well, as reports from Circana analyst Mat Piscatella reveals it was the top selling piece of games software in the US for April 2023.
Furthermore, its impressive sales have launched it to become the 4th best-selling game in the US in 2023 so far, with only Resident Evil 4, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Hogwarts Legacy ahead of it.
Other new entries in April like Dead Island 2 also had a strong month, as Deep Silver’s zombie whack-a-thon finishes the month just behind Survivor in the number two slot.
Piscatella also reports that overall game spending was down for the month compared to last year, and on the hardware side of things, its the PS5 coming out on top in terms of dollar sales.
May however includes a few big releases of its own, namely the long-awaited The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, and then June kicks off almost immediately with Diablo IV.
It’ll be interesting to see how Survivor stacks up in the coming months, and how the rankings look in June.
