Blizzard has revealed that the Diablo IV campaign can be skipped once you have completed it with one character, meaning you don’t have to play it with any additional characters.
As a result, players will be able to head into the open world and enjoy all of the endgame content once the campaign has been finished once. While this means you don’t need to finish it with any other character, it isn’t yet known how level scaling and difficulty settings will come into play.
The news comes following confirmation that Blizzard will be dropping new Diablo IV story content every three months, so players can look forward to a healthy post-launch slate for the upcoming dungeon crawler.
Diablo IV is scheduled for release on June 6, 2023 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The launch times for each version of the game can be seen here.
