Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Has Been Delayed Into 2024

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will no longer be a 2023 release, as it has been officially announced by Rocksteady that it will now launch on February 2, 2024.

Up until this news, Rocksteady fans of old were looking forward to seeing what the latest title from the studio that gave us the Batman Arkham series would be like, and they didn’t have to wait much longer with an end of May release date.

Now players will have to wait much longer for a game that’s already been delayed multiple times. This news also confirms a previous report from Bloomberg that a delay announcement would be coming.

“We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players.” Rocksteady said in a statement posted to Twitter.

“Thank you to our amazing community for the continued support, patience and understanding. There is much more to share in the months ahead and we look forward to seeing you in Metropolis next year.”

The first chunk of gameplay shown for Kill The Justice League definitely did not go down with players in the way Rocksteady hoped, and though its now officially been given another big delay, its unlikely that’ll change things.

Which isn’t all that surprising, considering how long developing a game takes, regardless of it being a massive AAA or small indie title.

But it does make one wonder the kind of state the game is in now, that the team couldn’t stomach the thought of releasing it in May, when we’re already almost halfway through April at time of writing.
