The standalone release of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered for PS5 is now available, which also comes with a $10 upgrade for those of you who own the PS4 version of the web-slinging adventure game.
The upgrade applies to Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man Digital Deluxe Edition, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition. If you’re buying it for the first time, then the remaster will cost you $49.99.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered was originally released in November 2020 as part of the Ultimate Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The game features a number of improvements over the PS4 version, including ray-tracing, faster load times, and a smoother frame rate among other bells and whistles.
In addition, the in-game model for Peter Parker was replaced in order to better match the facial CG capture provided by Yuri Lowenthal.
