As it does each month, the PlayStation Blog has revealed the top downloaded games across PS5, PS4, PS VR2 and PSVR for the US/Canada and the EU, and for April 2023, it’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor taking home the number one spot in both regions on PS5.
Following right behind Jedi: Survivor is Dead Island 2, which finished in the second spot for both the EU and US/Canada for PS5 downloads.
Interestingly, though Dead Island 2 has a PS4 version, players on the previous-gen hardware did not seem to be as enthused with Dead Island 2, as it only made it to the 11th spot for US/Canada PS4 downloads, and it barely made the list in the EU at number 17.
It was in fact The Last Of Us Part II in the number one spot on PS4 downloads for the US/Canada and the EU, which seems to indicate that the popularity spike given to the franchise by the new HBO show is still bringing in new players.
