Sony Interactive Entertainment is keeping quiet on its plans for the rest of the year beyond Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but according to the LinkedIN profile of a Senior VFX artist, the format holder looks to have an unannounced — possibly AAA — title lined up for 2023.
Dylan S. mentions on his ‘About’ page that he is able to “create photorealistic and stylized effects for film, television, and games,” and lists God of War: Ragnarok and ‘unannounced project 2023′ for the games he’s been working on.
As mentioned, Sony hasn’t revealed much about what to expect from the rest of 2023, although it is heavily rumoured the console maker will host a new PlayStation Showcase soon that will ‘set up the next phase of PS5.’
According to follow-up reports, this PlayStation Showcase is set to kick off towards the end of May, which would place it before Summer Game Fest (with E3 now cancelled, it’s more important than ever Sony hosts its own show).
