Murder Mystery romp Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express is launching in Q4 2023 for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, Microids Studio Lyon has announced.
Bringing the classic tale into modern times, Murder on the Orient Express takes place in 2023 and injects many new elements into the classic story as players rediscover one of legendary detective Hercule Poirot’s most famous cases. Set on board the prestigious train, the game finds Poirot using his little grey cells to solve a murder mystery punctuated with twists and turns and populated by a cast of intriguing characters.
Billed as a faithful adaptation of the classic story but augmented for modern times, Murder on the Oriented Express features a new character, Joanna Locke, allowing players to exit the train during playable flashbacks. Furthermore, player will enter Poirot’s head to access mind maps and make deductions, while also solving puzzles, searching for clues, and confronting suspects.
Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express is due out in Q4 2023 for PS5, PS4, PC, Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
