Diablo IV Post-Launch Seasons Require Campaign Completion, Season 1 To Begin Mid-July

Diablo IV’s post-launch content has been blown wide open by Blizzard, revealing that its quarterly seasons will require players to complete the main campaign first. As such, Season 1 is scheduled to launch in mid-July, giving players time to complete the main story.

Because of this, we recommend you begin your pursuit of Lilith in advance so you can jump into the first Season as soon as it becomes available.

Diablo IV will allow players to access a Season Journey screen, which offers details on new content and outlines the objectives required to complete rewards for each Season. Speaking of which, every Season in the upcoming dungeon crawler will feature a new Battle Pass, which adds 27 free tires and 63 premium terms.

The free tiers include cosmetics and Smouldering Ashes, which are a form of currency used to spend on Season Blessings, which reward CIP, Gold or Obol bonuses. Furthermore, Diablo IV has a premium currency known as Platinum, which can be purchased with real money and is used in the Shop for new cosmetic items or towards future Battle Passes.

The Shop is intended to be an avenue of self-expression for our players, and they can interact with it as much or as little as they desire during their time in Sanctuary.

Diablo IV is scheduled for release on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on June 6, 2023.
