The Last Of Us HBO Averages Nearly 32 Million Viewers Per Ep In US

HBO’s The Last of Us has been a huge success, but fresh data from Warner Bros. Discovery has revealed the extent of just how popular it is.

As picked up by DomsPlaying on Twitter, the show picks up an average of 32 million viewers per episode in the US. Furthermore, it’s also the most-watched HBO show ever in Europe and Latin America. Not too shabby for a video game adaptation, we think you’ll agree.

The Last of Us HBO premiered in January and was quickly renewed for a second series, although it ,ay be a while before we get to see it. According to star Bella Ramsey during an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show, The Last of Us Season 2 won’t air until late 2024 at the very earliest.

Showruner Craig Mazin said that he’s hoping to have The Last of Us exist beyond a second series, making it clear there’s more stories to tell.
